Hi, I’m Saurabh Rane.
I’m currently a masters student at Northwestern’s Engineering Design Innovation (EDI) (Previously Mechanical/Project Engineer @ Pacific Die Cut Industries & BS Bioengineering @ UC San Diego).
Broadly speaking, I’m interested in how technology can be leveraged to solve problems in traditionally non-technological fields — areas such as connected health and healthcare solutions in developing countries and sports particularly stand out.
More specifically, I’m interested at the intersect of product engineering & data science, and the role UX design theory plays in furthering that field.
My work in those fields can be best reflected in my portfolio. For a more casual take on those fields, along with various puzzles and random musings on the quant side of sports, check out my blog.
