Hi, I’m Saurabh Rane.

 I’m cur­rent­ly a mas­ters stu­dent at North­west­ern’s Engi­neer­ing Design Inno­va­tion (EDI) (Pre­vi­ous­ly Mechanical/Project Engi­neer @ Pacif­ic Die Cut Indus­tries & BS Bio­engi­neer­ing @ UC San Diego).

Broad­ly speak­ing, I’m inter­est­ed in how tech­nol­o­gy can be lever­aged to solve prob­lems in tra­di­tion­al­ly non-tech­no­log­i­cal fields — areas such as con­nect­ed health and health­care solu­tions in devel­op­ing coun­tries and sports par­tic­u­lar­ly stand out.

More specif­i­cal­ly, I’m inter­est­ed at the inter­sect of prod­uct engi­neer­ing & data sci­ence, and the role UX design the­o­ry plays in fur­ther­ing that field.
